Do you have your roots in the soil and your eyes on the horizon?

Do you have a heart for service and a mind for meeting challenges?

Put your passion for agriculture and your communication skills to work serving Idaho's conservation districts!

The Idaho Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts is currently accepting proposals for an Executive Director. This is a part-time contract position.

The executive director's role is critical to supporting soil and water conservation districts throughout Idaho-strengthening coordination, maintaining relationships with partners, and helping advance locally led, voluntary conservation across Idaho.

We are eager to hear from qualified individuals or firms with experience in conservation, agriculture, public administration, nonprofit leadership, or related fields. Familiarity with Idaho's agriculture and conservation landscape and working collaboratively with districts and partners will be valuable assets.

Proposals are being accepted until the position is filled, with January 31, 2026 identified as the date for completing proposal review. Please see the attached RFP to determine if this would be a good fit for you. Submit proposals to board@iascd.org.
